Tia and Andrew :: Villa Terrace Art Museum

She’s an artist. And they fell in love as they put together one of her installations one summer. I can only imagine that flirty smiles and adorable looks that they gave one another from across the room as they hung art and talked about art and started their romance together! :) A love story that began in an art museum certainly has to be tied together in an art museum, eh? :)

And with Tia being an artist, she designed and MADE the wedding rings, hand letter-pressed the invites, thank you’s, kid-designed coasters and the recipe cards with the first few recipes that Tia and Andrew shared together when they were dating (YUM)! And my FAVORITE part…..she wore her Grandmother’s wedding dress; the one that her mother and sister had also worn over the years. A gorgeous, lace, heirloom that helped begin the lives of 3 other couples….and now it was the same for Tia and Andrew! :) And she looked STUNNING in it! :) I believe she shortened it, added cap sleeves and a few other details….and it was perfect on her! :) Simply perfect! :)

Guests were greeted at the amazing courtyard of the Villa Terrace Art Museum and brought to the balcony that overlooked Lake Michigan for the ceremony! They were wined and dined with food, cupcakes and great Wisconsin Beer! :) Beautiful speeches, lawn games, many MANY hugs and a live band rounded out the night of laughter and fun! :) What a beautiful wedding day! :)
