She looked like Audrey Hepburn and he looked like the handsome military man that he is! :) They locked eyes as she walked down the isle and the rest was a blur! :)
The day began with giggles, champagne and girl time in the hotel suite at the Pfister hotel while the guys watched football a few floors below! With the little pup, PJ, walking around, Meagan prepared for the biggest day of her life……adorned with a classic Vera gown and some beautifully sparkly Jimmy Choo shoes, she was as gorgeous as ever from head to toe! As the guests were seated, her Dad peered out the window to see just how “ready” everyone was, he glanced at his daughter and gave her one last “I LOVE YOU” look in his eyes before he gave her away to the man of her dreams! With a quick kiss on the cheek, the doors opened and down the isle they walked….with David standing at the end waiting for his beautiful bride! :) With some awesome Serbian inspired tradition, they vowed to one another, kissed and became husband and wife! It was beautiful! :)
After a quick stop for some photos in the outskirts of Milwaukee, they came back to the Pfister to eat, drink and be merry! :) From amazing food to unforgettable speeches, the night was awesome! And it was all made complete with an extra special toast to Megan’s Grandpa, who had recently passed….the heart behind the family….a man who had traveled over from Serbia to make a name for himself and future generations! :) The guests toasted to Grandpa and were WOWED with some AMAZING and super awesome traditional Serbian dancing….full of colors, music and awesome fast foot-stepping! :)
We left the wedding amazed and thankful…..to be a part of such an enormously special day, but to be so inspired from such rich family love! :) Meagan and David are surrounded with unwavering friends and family that have poured into them and will continue to do so as they make their own way together! :) To see two sets of parents so loving and involved was inspiring and hopeful! :) What an amazing day! :)
