He sat there snoring on my lap; loud snores with big breaths in between…he was dreaming about something great, I just knew it! “This pug will be 10 soon…a whole decade, can we PLLLEEAAASSEE throw him a party?!!?” I asked Aaron. Aaron just rolled his eyes (with a smile on his face) and said yes! :) I immediately started planning even though his birthday is in April, which was a whole 4 months away at the time! :) I knew that a whole decade for a dog was a big deal so I wanted his party to be amazing! :)

Well, today is Pug’s actual birthday, but last weekend he had the party of a lifetime for a pug. With a treat table, human food and pug food, his puppy friends, kiddo friends and other human friends, it was fabulous (although Aaron STILL thinks that he didn’t like the birthday hat I made him wear, I beg to differ…but that’s another story! :)

It was fabulous! :) Both Edward and Gwen were pooped after a whole afternoon of playing and running around. Pug even got some presents to celebrate; some new treats, some of his favorite treats, a new rubber toy and his new favorite squeeky watermelon! It was just grand! :)

Happy Birthday Pug! Your fall asleep standing up, your snore ALL TIME TIME, your wrinkles are all over your body and sometimes you fart and scare yourself! I wouldn’t have you any other way! :) I love you boy!

A shout out to Dena, who did all of the paper goods; the invite, the goodie bags, the treat tags and the cupcake flags! I LOVED them! :) And to Lanae for being my “pug whisper” to get Edward to sit for photos (he HATES photos! :)
