Kirsten + David :: Aria, Minneapolis wedding! :)

I felt FULL after leaving this wedding…and not the I-ate-so-much-oh-my-word kind of full, but the smiling-heart-happy full! :) Kirsten and David celebrated with a room full of love on a Sunday afternoon in August! :) They are the kind of people everyone NEEDS to know…they are joyful, they are happy, they are generous and they are full of love and life. These two oozed all day as they hugged and smiled and cried and laughed their way through their big day! :)

One of my favorite moments is when their friends and family sang them up the isle to Phil Wickham’s “Divine Romance” just after being pronounced husband and wife. The high-ceiling, urban building filled with a joyful tune that had me nearly in tears! :) They beamed as they made eye contact with many of them singing as they walked back up the isle! :) It was a perfect ending to a meaningful ceremony!

With touches of purple and navy, and silver, gold and pink….it married PERFECTLY with the urban, loft of the Aria (and awesome new venue in Minneapolis! :) And of course, because Kirsten works for TOMS, everyone HAD to be wearing some. I mean, stylish, right?! :) With lace and ribbon and wood cuts and colored bottles and beautiful textures all around, it was AMAZING! :) Her vision came to life and was a perfect backdrop for a Sunday night party of a lifetime! :)

A day in the life of Jessica and Nick!

All three of us sat on the couch in my living room drumming up ideas and getting louder and louder with excitement as each idea came to mind! Nick and Jessica are fun-loving people that grab life by the horns and LIVE! They wanted an engagement session that wasn’t “posed” or stale…they wanted something fun and “THEM”….so, why not? Why not do a mini-day-in-the-life-of Jessica and Nick (well, afternoon-in-the-life-of actually! :) They loved to cook, they loved to laugh, they loved to read, they loved their dog, they loved Jess’s Vegan home-made dishes, they loved to go for walks, and they loved coffee. All things they would normally do on a Sunday afternoon…so why, not shoot that! :) YAY!

I met Jess and Nick at their ADORABLE apartment in Minneapolis and we hit the ground running, along with their newly adopted pup! It was one of those engagement sessions that I walked away with a HUGE SMILE when we were done…..I really, REALLY couldn’t wait to chat more about their wedding, get to know their details and spend an entire day next November with them as they become husband and wife! You don’t meet people like Nick and Jessica too often! They are honest, down-to-earth, truth-living people that you just want to be around….gosh, November 3rd can’t come fast enough! :)

Brooke and Jay :: Nicollet Island Pavilion wedding

The sun was shining, the trees were golden and the wind was fierce….but it was perfect! :) Although most of the leaves blew off of the trees over the course of their day, Brooke and Jay were wrapped in each others arms watching their perfect wedding day happening right in front of their eyes! :) It was gorgeous, it was charming and it was full of life and color! :)

Gosh, was it awesome! I can’t wait to show more! :)
