Zoe and Chris :: Camrose Hill Flower Farm wedding

“Zoe! I feel like we are in a dream of yours!!!!” exclaimed someone as they hugged her! And I thought to myself, as I looked around, YES…that is so RIGHT! 100% a dream of Zoe’s! :) It felt like a dream of Zoe’s because it was soft and beautiful, just like her. It was charming and cute, just like her new husband. And it was happy and full of life, just as the friends and family that surrounded her! :)

Though the day started out rainy, it turned out perfect! No rain could stop them from celebrating and getting married and making their wedding day the BEST day EVER! :) With soft pink, mint and grey touches the color palette was PERFECT for a Camrose Hill Flower Farm wedding…and her flowers! Cindy, from Camrose, pulled together one of the most beautiful bouquets I have EVER seen!!! With twinkle lights and twigs all over, as well as jars of herbs and small vignettes of more flowers, the day WAS a dream! :)

Their ceremony was one my favorite I have seen at Camrose yet! :) It was “inside” the shed with gobs of candles on a dresser that was the “alter”, a gorgeous antique mirror as their backdrop, one of the most beautiful floral chandeliers and hundreds of soft pink rose pedals on the ground. Each guest stood almost breathless as the first site of this spot….it was almost as intimate and amazing and their vows! :)

What a day! What an amazing, wonderful, perfect day! :) Congrats you two!!!!

The Kesstersons!

When Jess contacted me to do some family photos for her amazingly, adorable family I just couldn’t resist! :) Usually, in the busy-ness of weddings I don’t have much time to squeeze in too many portrait sessions, but when she “pitched” the idea that we should decorate a little tree for part of it, my smile grew HUGE from ear to ear! :) You see, Jess is one of those people that is WILDLY creative and can anything with a sewing machine, knitting needles, paper, glue, glitter, beads…..you name it, she can do it! And her talent doesn’t’ stop there…her and her husband, Jeff, are running a fabulously successful photography business! They have grown about 400% over the past year and have potential beyond what they can even see. I just know they are going to “go places” with the creativity and I love watching it happen! I have a feeling that their little Graham may pick on some of this talent and be wildly creative himself…can’t wait to see that! :)

I mean, aren’t they just adorable?!?!? I kinda, secretly, want to be a part of their family! :)

Gabe and Carin :: sunset love in a field! :)

“Ohhhh you guys are amazing” I yelled from behind my lens as we traipsed through the field a few weeks ago; a GIANT “giggle” (in a South African accent) came from her face and he just looked at her and smiled! He kept doing that as we whispered “I love you’s” and “you’re so beautiful” into her ear as we continued to shoot until the sun went down! :) It was perfection!!!! SHEER PEFECTION! :)

Gabe and Carin are 2 FABULOUS photographers from North Dakota that (in my opinion) should be taking over the state with their photography! :) Their simple style combined with their aesthetic is exactly why brides should be racing to their house and beating down their door! :) With only a handful of years under their belt, I see both of them doing AMAZING things as they grow their business and conquer the great state of North Dakota one photograph at a time! :)

Their little session *MAY* just be one of my favorites to date! :)
