Kate and Conor :: Winter love in the woods! :)

Since the first time Kate and I chatted via e-mail, I just KNEW that she was joyful, candid and so genuine….and when I pulled up to meet her and Connor last weekend at their engagement session, my smile grew even bigger because I was right! :) Conor and Kate are ADORABLE! They laugh together constantly and they share a life that is full of adventure and undoubted love towards one another! :) They are planning, what I can only imagine from how stylish they are, is a family-filled, amazingly gorgeous Door County wedding later this year at Kate’s parents home! :) It will be stunning….I just know it! :)

Oh—-and I kinda have to give a giant shout-out to Chip and Sonja for an amazing day! They are friends of Conor and Kate’s and kinda-sorta rescued me from the dreaded icy-hill-car-stuck-in-the-ditch-and-I-don’t-know-what-I’m-going-to-do moment I had after our session was over. Without being too dramatic, I think it might have been a scene from an upcoming movie with my car half hanging over the ledge into the ditch…and along comes Chip with is giant, manly truck to save the poor-pregnant-photographer girl from having to walk home from Black Earth, WI (about 300 miles)! :) It was daring and it was amazing. I hope you all celebrated our strategic, snowy victory with a couple of beers later in the evening! :)

YAY for September weddings in Door County!! :)

Ok…doesn’t’ Connor look EXACTLY like Tom Hanks from the Movie BIG??!?!! I about died when I saw this one back from the lab….I’m convinced it’s his dopple-ganger! :) The flannel, the glasses….eh?!?!

Dusty and Anne :: Love on the lakes in Madison WI!

We hadn’t met, but from the moment I saw her bouncing down the stairs of the student union in her adorable blue dress and completely natural attitude, I KNEW! It was going to be a great afternoon! :) Their relationship is simple and organic. They both make each other giggle and when they look into each other’s eyes, their smiles both radiate Joy. TRUE JOY! :) They love the outdoors and are planning one of the most gorgeous weddings in Door County and I couldn’t be more excited to spend a few days in one of the most gorgeous places on earth with an amazing couple like Dusty and Anne!! :)
